General Terms and Conditions


For renting one of our stays:

• Guest rooms 'Coquelicot' and 'Lavande'
• Holiday homes 'Rose' and 'A la campagne'
• Farm campsite
the following conditions, rental and payment conditions and house rules apply.

Requirements

1. Reservation
You can submit an application for this via the contact form on the website, Facebook, mail or telephone
reservation of one or more of our stays. The landlord will contact you within 24 hours to discuss the availability and wishes with you. If you and the landlord agree on booking,
you will receive a confirmation by email. We ask you to transfer 50% of the rental amount of the accommodation to us after receipt of the confirmation. The reservation is final when the deposit has been paid, unless otherwise agreed. See point 7 for payment information.

2. Landlord
By landlord is meant: Daan and Jacqueline van Loveren, Les Beauffes, 63700 Buxières sous Montaigut, France (FRANCE).

3. Rental period
The Guest Rooms Coquelicot and Lavande can be rented for one or more nights. Bookings for the holiday homes 'Rose' and 'A la campagne' are possible for a minimum of 2 days throughout the year. The rental period starts on the first rental day at 4:00 PM and ends on the last rental day at 10:00 AM. It is possible to deviate from this if the tenant and the landlord have agreed otherwise in writing before the start and / or end of the rental period.

4. Prices

No distinction is made between high and low season prices. For prices, please refer to the
website, the prices mentioned are for 2019.

5. Force majeure
If the rented accommodation becomes uninhabitable or difficult to inhabit before the start of or during the rental period due to force majeure, the lessor will refund a proportional part of the rent paid. The landlord will also mediate, if desired, in finding a residential alternative. However, the landlord is not liable for further damage, of whatever nature, that is caused by force majeure. This includes circumstances that can affect the quality of the stay in the holiday home, such as fire, flood, abnormal rainfall, storm, odor nuisance, water and electricity failure and other external influences.

6. Included costs
The costs for the use of water, gas, electricity, tourist tax and final cleaning are included in the rent. Tenants must leave the rooms and the holiday homes tidy.

7. Payment of the rent
Payment of the rent will take place in two installments, with the exception of the situation as stated under point 7c) of these conditions.

a) The first installment is 50% of the rental amount of the accommodation, as agreed during the reservation.

b) The second installment (the remaining 50% of the rent) must be paid on the day of departure.
c) If the agreement is less than 4 weeks before the start of the agreed rental period
entered into, the total amount must be paid immediately, unless otherwise agreed.
d) When renting the holiday homes, a deposit of € 75 must be paid with the deposit. The deposit will be refunded within 3 days (after deduction of any damage, repairs, breakage, etc.).

8. Tourist tax
The tourist tax costs are, from 18 years, € 0.90 per person / per night.


9. Travel and cancellation insurance
It is important that the tenant takes out travel and / or cancellation insurance. Compensation of costs incurred can then be submitted to the insurance.

Cancellations must be made by telephone or e-mail. In case of cancellation, the following costs are due:
- If canceled up to 6 weeks before the day of arrival, the deposit will be returned.
- Cancellation within 6 weeks before arrival: 50% of the rent.
- Cancellation within 1 week before arrival: 100% of the rent.
If we find a replacement tenant for (part of) the rental period, the total amount will be proportionally refunded.


10. Damage
Damage in, around and / or with regard to the rented accommodation must be reported by the tenant to the landlord. In case of serious negligence / carelessness of the tenant, the damage will be recovered from him / her.

11. Liability
a) The landlord is not liable for:
    • damage to or theft of the tenant's belongings
    • accident or injury of the tenant during the stay unless there is an issue
